ESE Online Maps

The maps are being revised and updated but they are following a similar pattern.

Scrolling the wheel will zoom the view in and out. Holding the left mouse button will pan.

To the left are buttons to toggle the layers provided.

Contours: These are not detailed.

Satellite: The imagery varies based on zoom level. Dates of photography are not available nor is the quality of the imagery.

Parcels: These are the GIS Assessors' Parcels. If you click on a parcel, a popup will provide information and a link to a page on the property. Do not get excited, most of the pages are blank.

Floodplain: The 2014 FEMA mapping layer is provided. This does not reflect LOMCs. Click on the layer for the type and elevation.

DEP Wetland: The DEP Wetland GIS layer is provided. Click on an object to list the wetland identifier and code.

DEP Wetland Line: The DEP Wetland Line GIS layer is provided. Click on an object to list the wetland identifier.

Priority Habitat: This is the NHESP layer for Priority Habitats of Rare and Endangered Species. Click on an object to list the habitat ID.

Estimated Habitat: This is the NHESP layer for Estimated Habitat of Rare and Endangered Species. Click on an object to list the habitat ID.

Vernal Pools: This is the NHESP layer for the Certified Vernal Pools. The dots do not represent the shape or limits of the vernal pools, just the approximate locations. Click a dot for the Vernal Pool ID.

Zone II: This is the DEP layer for the Zone II, the area of contribution to a municipal well. Click an object to list information.

Soils: This is the digitized County Soil Survey. Click a shape to list the information on the soil type.

Conservancy District: This is a layer created by ESE. The shapes are the Town of Chatham Conservancy Districts. Click an object to list some information.

Sewer: This layer highlights the parcels with sewer and tie cards that we have uploaded. This layer does not represent every sewered property and additional cards are being added. Click on a parcel for the date of construction and a link to the page with the tie card.

Conservation: Thsi layer highlights the Chatham Conservation Foundation parcels. Those in light green are based on the GIS Parcels Layer. Those in dark green are based on surveyed locations. Click a parcel for information.

The search bar is available in the upper right corner. It works best with streets or addresses.
