NavVis Workflow

Acquire control & Scan - We put control about every 100’ and tie into each point 1 or 2 times with the scanner. Sometimes control is RTK, other times we perform rigorous efforts for the control (RTK+Total Station+3-wire Level).

Upload the project from the USB Drive straight to NavVis IVION. This takes some time, so simultaneously, compute / adjust the control.

Drop the scan image into the control and write out a list of points. Export the control to a text file using our native Feet. Run the text file through the NavVis Control Converter (free on https://www.ese-llc.com/navvis-control-converter)

Setup IVION to process the task, upload the converted control file.

Choose the options and tell it to GO.

Walk away or work on something else as the processing can take hours. As it is on their servers, it does not take up a work station.
